Badam Thandai

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Soaked almonds
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp Watermelon seeds
  • 2 Soaked pitted dates
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp Freshly ground black pepper
  • A few strands of saffron (4-5)
  • 150 ml Thick almond milk
  • 1 cup Cool drinking water
  • Few dried rose petals (for the garnish - optional)
  • A few chopped pistachios, chopped (for the garnish - optional)
Instructions

    Take the soaked almonds and seeds in a blender along with a little water and blend until it becomes a thick paste.

    Add the pitted dates, cardamom powder & black pepper. Add almond milk and ice if required, and blend again.

    Garnish with a little saffron, chopped pistachios & dried rose petals (if using)

    Cool and serve.
