Raw Mango Coconut Curry

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Chopped fresh unpeeled raw mango
  • 1/2 cup Tender coconut flesh (malai)
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 Tamarind
  • 2 Green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • For tempering:
  • 1 tsp Crushed mustard seeds
  • 2 tbsp Curry leaves
  • 2 Kashmiri chillies
Instructions

    In a blender, take the tender coconut, water, tamarind, green chillies, salt and turmeric powder. Blend until smooth and transfer to a serving dish.

    Add the raw mango pieces into the gravy and temper with mustard seeds, curry leaves and Kashmiri chillies.

    Serve with hot rice / pulao - anything of your choice.
