Fibroids

Fibroids are noncancerous tumors that develop in or around the uterus, made up of muscle and fibrous tissue. They can range from very small to large masses that distort the uterus. While some women have no symptoms, others may experience heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pressure, pain, or fertility issues. Fibroids are common and often influenced by hormonal and genetic factors.
